Laborers for the harvest |
| In the 1950s and 1960s, many of the Mangkong people of Laos came to the Lord after seeing their friends and relatives freed from demonic oppression and after witnessing the healing power of prayer to the Most High God. Highly fearful of the spirit world, the Mangkong welcomed the freedom that Christ offered them. When workers were later asked to leave the country, the believers they left behind were strong, but greatly persecuted. At present, there is no known work among the Mangkong. They have no Bible in their language and no audio resources for studying God’s Word. In addition, it is reported that three-fourths of the people have never attended school. Please ask the Lord to raise up laborers for the harvest among the Mangkong people. Pray that He will strengthen the believers and enable them to learn more of God’s Word in order to train others. http://imb.org/main/pray/ |
