“Criminal” on the bus! |
| A criminal rides the buses in Iran. His crimes are apostasy (leaving Islam) and sharing his faith. J has demonstrated both boldness and discernment in witnessing effectively. One of his strategies has been to show clips of the “JESUS” film on his cell phone to friends he meets in tea houses. Interested viewers meet him later to view the entire film and take home a Bible. He takes buses across the country to cities where there are no churches to share his faith with any friends he makes. He has shown bravery in difficult situations, putting the task of delivering the Gospel to the unreached above his personal safety. Pray that J will have no trouble from authorities as he travels around the country. Also ask that he will be safe on public transportation, and that he will be bold to continue to share the Gospel as the Holy Spirit gives him opportunities. Ask God to raise up more men who will join J in taking the Good News to the unreached corners of Iran. “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (Matthew 10:16). http://imb.org/main/pray/ |
